The GNX2A Positive Displacement Pump is an industrial pump designed for the transfer of clean, non-corrosive liquids, including petroleum products and various industrial liquids. This pump features a compact and economical design with an integral head-mounted gear reduction drive, equipped with oil-lubricated, hardened helical gears. The gear shafts are supported at both ends by ball bearings, ensuring smooth operation and extended service life. The inline reducer and pump shafts are dowel-mounted to the reducer case, simplifying alignment and maintenance.
The GNX2A model utilizes a unique sliding-vane pump design that self-adjusts for wear to maintain consistent flow rates over time, providing reliable performance in continuous operation. It offers excellent self-priming capabilities and dry run resistance, making it suitable for applications with variable inlet conditions. The pump incorporates Blackmer Mechanicalchanical seals and ball bearing construction to maximize reliability and minimize leakage risk. External ball bearings are isolated from the pumped liquids by the seals, reducing contamination and extending bearing life.
Designed for durability, the GNX2A includes an adjustable relief valve that protects against excessive pressure, safeguarding the pump and associated equipment. The pump's easy maintenance features include vane replacement without removing the entire pump from the piping system.
