Description
Designed for refineries, lube oil plants, and general industrial processing, filling, and transfer applications, the Blackmer XL Series delivers proven sliding vane reliability in ductile-iron construction with sizes spanning 2 through 4 inches. External ball bearings isolated from the pumpage by mechanical seals extend bearing life and protect product purity, while symmetrical bearing support distributes load evenly for long service intervals.
An adjustable internal relief valve protects the pump against overpressure, and replaceable casings, liners, and end discs allow the pumping chamber to be rebuilt to like-new condition without removing the pump from the line. Blackmer's self-adjusting vane design maintains near-original flow rates through most of the vane's service life, reducing unplanned downtime.
