Description

The Blackmer LGLH2A is a ductile iron, high pressure sliding vane pump built for Autogas and anhydrous ammonia service. It is part of Blackmer's Cavitation Line, pairing a high differential pressure design with a cavitation suppression liner so the pump runs fast and quiet even when entrained vapors are present. Replaceable casing liners and end discs allow the pumping chamber to be rebuilt to like new condition, which keeps downtime and life cycle costs low. The pump is listed by Underwriters Laboratory for both LP gas and anhydrous ammonia service.

Features and Benefits

  • Listed by Underwriters Laboratory for both LP gas and anhydrous ammonia (NH3) service
  • Cavitation suppression liner reduces the noise, vibration and wear normally caused by entrained vapors
  • Replaceable casing, liners and end discs allow easy rebuilding of the pumping chamber
  • Ductile iron construction with an integral relief valve that protects the pump against excessive pressure
  • Blackmer mechanical seal and ball bearing construction for maximum reliability
  • External ball bearings isolated from the pumpage by mechanical seals to maximize bearing life
  • Symmetrical bearing support assures even loading and wear for long life
  • Self adjusting sliding vane design maintains flow rates as the vanes wear
  • Excellent self priming, dry run, high suction lift and line stripping capability
  • Vanes can be replaced without removing the pump from the piping system

Applications

  • High pressure bobtail delivery trucks
  • High capacity LPG fueling
  • Aerosol filling
  • Vaporizer feed
