Description
The Blackmer GNX Series is a line of alignment-free, reduced-speed sliding vane pumps for non-corrosive, clean industrial liquids and petroleum products, available in 2, 2.5, 3, and 4 inch sizes with a 90 degree porting orientation. A commercial-grade, single-stage gear reducer fits between the motor and pump and is held in place by a permanent dowelled connection, creating a structural link between the high-speed and low-speed sides of the system so the pump never needs realignment, either at initial installation or after a maintenance procedure. The optional pre-grouted composite baseplate adds a surface flatness of 0.002 inch per foot and roughly 24 times the vibration damping of a steel baseplate. GNX Series pumps carry forward the proven features of Blackmer's legacy GX Series. A companion line, the GNXH Series, uses the same pump but with 180 degree inline porting instead of the 90 degree offset porting used here; GNXH models are priced on a separate sheet and listed on their own product page.

GNX2A
The GNX2A is the smallest model in the series, a 2 inch pump rated for a nominal flow of 7 to 86 gpm (26 to 325 L/min). It ships at approximately 88 lb, pump only, less gear reducer. Seal type and flange connection are both selectable above; other options ship in Blackmer's standard configuration unless you call in.
GNX2.5A
The GNX2.5A is the 2.5 inch model, rated for a nominal flow of 12 to 155 gpm (45 to 587 L/min). It ships at approximately 102 lb, pump only, less gear reducer. Seal type and flange connection are both selectable above.
GNX3A
The GNX3A is the 3 inch model, rated for a nominal flow of 100 to 275 gpm (379 to 1,041 L/min). It ships at approximately 178 lb, pump only, less gear reducer. Seal type and flange connection are both selectable above.
GNX4A
The GNX4A is the largest and highest capacity model in the series, a 4 inch pump rated for a nominal flow of 250 to 500 gpm (946 to 1,893 L/min). It ships at approximately 310 lb, pump only, less gear reducer. Seal type and flange connection are both selectable above.

Vane material, rotation, relief valve type, relief valve spring range, and O-ring elastomer are not selectable online because of catalog system limits and Shopify's 3-option cap; every pump ships in Blackmer's standard configuration for those unless you call us at (262) 646-4500 with the code you need and we will quote and build the order for you.

Relief valve spring range is a no-cost option that ships in Blackmer's standard range for each model unless a different range is called in: GNX2A standard is 51-75 psi, GNX2.5A standard is 51-110 psi, GNX3A standard is 51-110 psi, GNX4A standard is 51-75 psi. Other ranges are available per model per the Blackmer price sheet; note the 41-50 psi range on GNX2.5A is not available together with the Corrosion Resistant relief valve.

Gear Reducers and Complete Unit Assemblies
Every price above is for the base pump only, less gear reducer. Blackmer offers the GNX2A/GNX2.5A gear reducer in a Frame 7 size with 7 ratios (2.15:1 to 5.41:1) and multiple motor frame options from $2,395; the GNX3A reducer is a Frame 8 size with 8 ratios (2.14:1 to 7.18:1) from $2,875 to $3,280; and the GNX4A reducer is a Frame 9 size with 9 ratios (2.86:1 to 6.82:1) from $4,760 to $5,000, all added to the pump price. Complete base-mounted unit assemblies (pump, gear reducer, motor, and either a Bent Steel or BaseTek composite baseplate) are also available, priced by motor frame size from roughly $1,770 to $4,920 in addition to the pump and gear reducer. Applications
GNX Series pumps are used to transfer non-corrosive, clean industrial liquids and petroleum products, including fuel oils, lube oils, jet fuels, gasoline, and edible oils, along with solvents and thinners such as esters, ketones, naphthas, ethers, amines, aromatics, alcohols, terpenes, and glycols.
