Description

Blackmer TXDI Series sliding vane pumps are the ductile iron, inline-ported variant of the TXD platform. Where the standard TXD models feature a top outlet (outlet 90° offset from inlet), the TXDI and TXI4A models have a side outlet, with the outlet 180° offset from the inlet, an inline configuration that simplifies certain installation geometries on truck frames.

All TXDI models are built from ductile iron (ASTM A536) throughout (cylinder, heads, and relief valve cover) rather than the cast iron used in standard TXD models. They carry the same Blackmer mechanical seals, external ball bearings, double-ended drive shaft, adjustable iron relief valve, and self-adjusting Duravane vanes as the TXD series. TXDI models include a standard double-ended shaft on the 2", 2.5", and 3" versions; the TXI4A uses a single-ended right-hand (CW) shaft as standard.

Applications

Fuel oil, gasoline, jet fuel, ethanol and alcohol blends, lube oil, solvents, esters, ketones, naphtha, aromatic and glycol compounds. Designed for tanker truck unloading, transport delivery, fleet refueling, and bulk transfer where the inline port orientation simplifies plumbing.
