Description
The Blackmer LGL Series 1.25 inch to 1.5 inch sliding vane pumps are ductile iron, motor speed propane pumps built for motor fueling, multiple station cylinder filling and small transfer duty. Every model is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for LP-Gas and anhydrous ammonia service, and every model carries a cavitation suppression liner that cuts the noise, vibration and wear normally caused by entrained vapor.
All six models share the same wet end architecture: an eight vane Duravane rotor, an integral relief valve, a Blackmer single mechanical seal, Buna-N elastomers, external ball bearings isolated from the pumpage, and NPT tapped ports. The replaceable liner, discs and vanes let the pumping chamber be rebuilt to like new condition without replacing the pump.

Models carrying an R use a reduced flow liner. Models carrying an F are supplied with an integral bracket and a flexible shaft coupling, ready to accept a NEMA C-face or IEC flanged face motor. Models without an F are foot mounted and are driven through a separate coupling or an integrated unit assembly.

Rotation and Motor Adaptor
Rotation is selected above and is viewed from the driven end of the pump. Right hand (CW) is the standard build and left hand (CCW) is available at no cost. Choose the direction that matches your driver.
The Motor Adaptor selection depends on how the pump is mounted. The three foot mounted models, LGRL1.25, LGL1.25 and LGL1.5, are supplied foot mounted less coupling, which is their only adaptor selection. The three flanged models, LGRLF1.25A, LGLF1.25A and LGLF1.5A, are supplied with a motor adaptor and coupling matched to your motor frame, and offer six selections:

Footless adaptors require a motor with feet. Footed adaptors are suggested for motors without feet. All motor adaptor selections are supplied at no additional cost.

Integrated Unit Assemblies
Blackmer Integrated Unit Assemblies are a pre engineered drop in package that pairs the pump with a motor, baseplate, coupling and coupling guards, with no field alignment required. Direct mount assemblies are offered for the foot mounted models across NEMA 56 through 215T frames, and for the flanged models across 56C through 184TC frames. Unit assemblies are priced separately from the pump and motor. Call to Order (262) 646-4500 to have one configured.

Maintenance Kits
These pumps use eight vane kits. Maintenance kits cover the routine wear items and rebuild kits add the liner and discs needed to return the pumping chamber to like new condition.
