Description
The Blackmer TXD1200 Series is a family of high-speed, cast iron sliding vane truck pumps built for fast tanker unloading, fleet refueling, and bulk transfer. Running at speeds up to 1,200 RPM, they deliver quick, quiet operation, while the sliding vane design self-adjusts for wear to hold flow rates over the life of the pump. An adjustable relief valve protects the pump against excessive pressure.
Available in 2", 2.5", and 3" port sizes with flow rates from 20 to 265 GPM (4 to 60 m³/h) and differential pressures up to 125 psi (8.6 bar).

Features and Benefits
- Double-ended drive shaft allows either clockwise (RH) or counterclockwise (LH) rotation, and simplifies installation on 2", 2.5", and 3" models
- External roller ball bearings support the rotor from both sides, creating a stable environment for the internal mechanical seals
- Symmetrical bearing support assures even loading and wear for long life
- Internal mechanical seals allow for extended dry run and continuous operation with non-lubricating liquids
- External ball bearings are isolated from pumpage by mechanical seals to maximize bearing life and minimize contamination risk
- Adjustable relief valve protects the pump against excessive pressures
- Optional air-operated piston-style relief valve makes hose and nozzle handling easier
- Optional T-type strainers protect the pumping system from welding slag and foreign matter in the piping and tanks
- High volumetric efficiency and symmetrical bearing support mean less required horsepower than other positive displacement pumps, saving on both motor operation and electricity
- Vanes can be replaced without removing the pump from the truck
- Excellent self-priming, dry-run, high suction lift, and line-stripping capability
Applications
Transport delivery, fleet refueling, and bulk transfer of fuel oil, jet and aviation fuel, gasoline, biodiesel, ethanol and other alcohols, solvents, ester, ketone, naphtha, ether, amine, aromatics, terpene, glycol, and additives.
