Description
Blackmer LG1 Series Sliding Vane Pumps are ductile iron, motor speed transfer pumps built exclusively for propane, LPG, butane and anhydrous ammonia service. With a 1 inch NPT port and a small footprint, the LG1 has been the industry standard pump for LPG dispensers for more than 50 years, with over 50,000 units sold. Every model is Underwriters Laboratory listed for LP-Gas and anhydrous ammonia, and the replaceable casing and head let the pumping chamber be rebuilt to like new condition rather than replaced.
Models and Capacities
The letters in the model designation tell you how the pump mounts and how much it flows. A B model carries a bracket for mounting to a conventional base. An F model carries an integral bracket and coupling for direct flange mounting to a NEMA C-face motor, and its pump body rotates to simplify hookup to your piping. A P in the designation means roughly 50 percent more flow.

Rotation and Motor Adaptor
Rotation is a no cost choice on every model. Right hand (clockwise) places the inlet to the right when you look at the pump from the driven side, and left hand (counterclockwise) places it to the left. Choose the direction that matches your driver.
Motor adaptor selection follows the mounting style. LGB1E and LGB1PE are supplied foot mounted, less coupling. LGF1E and LGF1PE take an adaptor and coupling matched to your motor frame, and all four adaptor choices are no cost options:
- Footless adaptor and coupling, 56C frame motors. A motor with feet is required.
- Footless adaptor and coupling, 143-145TC and 184C frame motors. A motor with feet is required.
- Footed adaptor and coupling, 56C frame motors. A motor without feet is suggested.
- Footed adaptor and coupling, 143-145TC and 184C frame motors. A motor without feet is suggested.

Unit Assemblies
LGB1E and LGB1PE pumps can be supplied as a direct mount unit assembly that includes the base, coupling and coupling guard, ready to receive the pump and motor. Unit assemblies are offered for 56, 143T, 145T, 182T, 184T and 184 motor frames, with the pump and motor priced separately. They are not offered for LGF1E or LGF1PE, which flange mount directly to a NEMA C-face motor and need no separate base. Call to Order (262) 646-4500.
