Description

021805 Cylinder is a genuine Blackmer replacement cylinder for the 3 inch pump models NP3F and TXD3E.

The cylinder is the bore that the rotor and vanes sweep, so its condition sets how much of the pump's rated capacity actually reaches the discharge. A true bore keeps the vanes sealed against the wall. A worn one lets product slip back on every revolution.

Replace the 021805 when the bore shows scoring, an out of round wear pattern, or damage from debris or a dry run. New vanes in a worn cylinder will not bring the flow back, and they wear out faster than they should.

Order by part number, and check the model on your pump nameplate if you are not certain this is the cylinder your unit takes. Ask about vanes, bearings, and seals while the pump is open so the rebuild goes back together in one pass.
